side One lyrics and details
I got something to tell you
I got something to tell you
Now how do I explain
Don't go thinking I'm insanely sane
But maybe things ain't quite what they seem
Let me tell you about the people in my dreams
'Cause they play like the pixies
And they fly like the fairies
They make the wishes of the wizards
And they make love like the mermaids of the morning.
It's the place where stardust rains
And the children fly with the flames
And the lovers dance from cloud to cloud
Singing souls out loud
{chorus}
It's the place I link to your face
There are nice people there
They wear flowers in their hair
And they dance and they sing
living the life they love
{chorus}
So maybe things are quite as they seem
As we're dancing the dance of dreams
'Cause we play like the pixies
And we fly like the fairies
We make the wishes of the wizards
And then we'll make love like the mermaids of the morning.
I see the moon
and the moon sees me
in crystal clear connected ?/ sea
oceans of energy rise and fall
under the warm silver shining ss????? silken shining
and as dawn cuts free earth
from night time moon dance
we are free free falling
in love we are falling
in love
Truth may be found below or above
With my feet on the ground
and my head full of love
So show me the path, as it lies in between
The concrete destruction and the life oozing green
Ways between worlds, to fly high - to swim deep
From the dank, dark wood realm,
to the stone - mason's keep
Bridging the gap between black and the white
The sun beams and moon rays of daytime and night
The arc of a Rainbow soars way past beyond
As a circle's completed, Disk, Sword, Cup and Wand
For my heart is my truth and my mind but a tool
To maintain the mainstay of the green manic fools
For my mind stands to serve me, to fulfil my truth
As I dance on through Eden in eternity's youth
A serpent song sounding of birth's sweet caress
To rise above chaos in the life I possess
Well, the spheres they keep turning, the seasons move in
Between I stand strong now, for my world to begin
To sing a truth sharing my love for the Earth
To celebrate life and the joy of my birth
To drum out my heart as the healing takes hold
For some it is said, shine a light pure as gold
So waken deer soul for the dance to begin
In this marriage of starlight and my fire from within
Well I came to this realm from ways high above -
To learn of the Earth song and to learn to be love

singing sounds of strings
echo intertwined with floating flutes
and the silences in between
sing their own refrain
as we weave our musical webs
and connect ..among their threads
with half remembered lifetimes
yet come
we are one
{instrumental}
{chorus: }
From the Mother we come {Dm,C}
From the Mother we come {Dm,C}
From the Mother we come {Dm,C}
And to the mother we shall return {C,Dm}
And to the mother we shall return {C,Dm}
A spark of life is a fibre in the thread {Dm,Gm}
that is spun by the spinners, as the spindle of the earth. {C,Dm,C,Dm}
And all our lives are the threads from the spinners
That were woven by the weavers in the time before our birth
We and nature are one
Sister Moon, Brother Sun
From the Mother we come
And to the mother we shall return
And to the mother we shall return
We are life, and so we are the spinners
And we are the weavers on this loom of universe
And we shall grow into people of knowing
Into people of feeling, into people of the Earth
Walking along the ancient ridgeways
of Wessex with my friends
we watched the sun rise
we watched the sun set
we watched it rising again
Over downs
over meadows
through woodland
and down groves
we stop a while to rest our heads
then its on we go
Walking along the ancient footpaths
of Wessex with my friends
we walked through winter we walked through spring
now it's summer again
Some people will tell you its just a romantic ideal
but we are here to show you all that you can make it real
Walking along the ancient footpaths of England with my friends
we watched the moon waxing
we watched the moon waning
we watched her waxing again
Over stiles and over fences
no boundaries do we take
we gather upon the ancient high places
to celebrate with mead and cake
Walking along the ancient ridgeways of Wessex
with my friends
we walk through winter we walk the spring now its autumn again
And some people would like to make it hard to live this way
but were a young and growing tribe
getting stronger every day
We're walking along the ancient footpaths of England with our friends
we walk through winter we walk through spring
here comes winter again
Walking along the ancient footpaths of England with my friends
we watched the sun rise we watched the sun set
we watched it rising again.

1.A.A.9 Real Progress in 2020 by Quollobollox
friends we will travel in time in this next scene
to ??? time
to the future where ..???nature is a dream
if you don't like the vision and think that its strange
now is the time
then its up to you
to implement change
its wet, its green, its natural,
and I really don't like it
I'm glad we had the sense to quell
the noise of stinging insects.
There were static monsters called mountains once
that too which just took up loads of space
did nothing to justify their existence
a total unproductive waste
we figured they were a big distraction
people walked aimlessly on the mountain
with no thoughts at all of the real world
and you got all this noisy springtime chirping
from germy things that shat on you called birds
I appreciate these are unknown words
and real trees they had dying leaves
they didn't glow neon all year round
if you lost you way at night in a woo ?????
a woodland site it was really dark you might never be found
and there were stinging nettles
and uneven ground toxic with mud and swampy in parts
and the strange wild wetness of rivers flowing free
that children could drown in every so easily
damn they broke some parents hearts
and there was strange coloured children as dark as the night
who'd eat slug fodder grown with shit from bulls
they weren't all beautifully uniform white
with clean blond hair and blue eyes bright
strengthened by eating nice clean chemicals
and everything was spoiled by a dazzle of colours
how can you think straight. with brain overwhelmed?
it was so bad you had to close your eyes just to sleep
imagine that now in these days of real progress
and so tormented by different fragrances
what's a fragrance did I hear you say
its an invading microbe that squatted nostrils
and colonised the human brain
it stopped thoughts being. healthily uniform mutual
and probably triggered nothing but pain
so remember kids
beware black magic
if it's wet and green and natural trash it
those were terrible days
when mothers were female
they bled endlessly too
before we cured it
because they danced so much then like fools
there was always some woman bleeding pools
and she had all these eggs
just going to waste
before we drew up the proper laboratory rules
governing mobile ovum factories
which happily soon won't even need feeding
no danger now of unsterilised breeding
There was an old woman
tossed up in a basket
seventeen times as high as the moon
where she was going I couldn't but ask it
for in her hand she carried a broom
Old woman old woman old woman quouth I
where are you going to high up so high
to brush the cobwebs from out of the sky
may I go with thee, bye bye and bye
It's difficult to swallow a bitter pill
like the so called criminal justice bill
the right to party the right to rave
all withdrawn we must behave
and it's against the law
to live outside
gypsies and travellers now must hide
the right to silence has now been withdrawn
longer batons make us conform
road protesters can be arrested
for trying to save what the governments left us
we must be fluffy that don't mean feeble
win this battle cos were just people
just people
ordinary people like you and me, get out on the street
got jobs and everything, families
just people
ordinary people
labels and tags just make us stronger
major wont be there much longer
difficult to swallow a bitter pill
like the so called criminal justice pill
so don't swallow
I wasn't designed by computer
I came here form my mother
earth air fire and water
get on with my sisters and brothers
I believe we all have a future
and it won't be designed by computer
{instrumental}
When knights of old recover
sweep these trees clean to the green
rise from the iron that slew us down
gather round tables again
When knights of old remember
dragons dwell in this land
Gweneveire she sheds a tear
and knights she does command
Dragon eyes glowing
fire on beacons burning
but creature crystal pulsing sings
and we do learn the song
la la la la la la la la la la
la la la la la la la
Now Arthur walks once more
Merlin stirs in his sleep
we found his work begun long ago
and we wend it in the world
Dragon eyes glowing
fire on beacons burning
the creature crystal pulsing sings
and we do sing the song
la la la
creature crystal pulsing sings
we do sing the song
blessed be and blessed are
the lovers of the lady
blessed be and blessed are
made our mother cry
blessed be and blessed are
those who come together
blessed be and blessed are
those who stand alone
blessed be and blessed are
she's been waiting waiting
she's been waiting so long
she been waiting for her children
to remember to come home
Earth Chant by
Heathens All
oh our mother earth
bring her into birth
sweet creatress of the night and day
bring your spirit through
rest our thoughts in you
guide our feet in the natural way
Tribal Voices cassette Tape One Side Two
Once upon a time there was no time
except night time and day time
Then somebody put numbers
where the sun was
and time became endless
instead of just here and now time
Time began to pass
sometimes slowly, sometimes fast
sometimes there wasn't enough time
and other times time was vast
There became a time to live and a time to die
and an old father time
with his beady eye on those who,
though they were watching time fly
might not know it was their time to die
People learned all about the beginning of time
but became afraid about the end
because to them endings were sad
even though those they left behind
still had time yet to live
And when they died
their time wasn't really up
it just became timeless
like it was once upon a time
when there only was night time and daytime
before anyone had put numbers where the sun was
A whisper on the breeze,
A sigh among the trees,
An ancient legend rises from his slumber.
New life born of old,
The horns of Herne unfold,
The Hunter is abroad again.
Running with the deer
The Hunter's horn we hear,
The stillness of the valley is broken.
The guardian of the forest has awoken.
Protector of the trees,
A face among the leaves,
The hooded man shall draw his bow once more.
Clothed all in green,
He stalks the woods unseen,
But he appears to lead our dance each springtime.
Sap flows through his veins,
His heart of oak is made.
In autumn with the dying leaves he falls,
But come the springtime he will rise up tall.
{chorus: }
Have you heard the sounding of your name upon the breeze?
Have you heard him calling for his people are in need?,
The forests they are falling, will you heed their call?
The forests they are calling, for they need us...
else they fall.
A mighty oak has grown
Where an acorn he once sowed,
Through centuries of storms it has stood firm.
Witness to an age,
A wise but silent sage,
reaching for the sun that gives it life.
But beauty so long held
Is in an instant felled,
The splintering of ancient limbs resounds
And the crown of emerald green comes crashing down.
{chorus: }
Have you heard the sounding of your name upon the breeze?
Have you heard him calling for his people are in need?,
The forests they are falling, will you heed their call?
The forests they are calling, for they need us...
else they fall.
{chorus: }
Have you heard the sounding of your name upon the breeze?
Have you heard him calling for his people are in need?,
The forests they are falling, will you heed their call?
The forests they are calling, for they need us...
They need us one and all.
else they fall.
else they fall.
A whisper on the breeze,
A sigh among the Trees,
The people are rising from their slumber.

I have walked upon these hillsides
since I first was my mother's daughter
and you just can't take these hills away without me fighting
You may drive your big machine
but I was born a big strong woman
and you just can't take these hills away without me fighting
This old land's been walked by many people
some died young and some still living
if you think you've come to take these hills
well then I'm not here to give 'em
I have walked upon these woodlands
since I first was my mother's daughter
and you just can't take these trees away without me fighting
You may drive your big machine
but I was born a big strong woman
and you just can't take these trees away without me fighting
This old land's been walked by many people
some died young and some still living
if you think you've come to take these trees
well then I'm not here to give 'em
When I was just a little girl
I would cry for all my worth
to see a creature lying dead
where a road cut through the earth
And as I grew into my teens
the pain I felt went deeper
I learnt about the deadly bombs
and the value of life grew cheaper
The place I lived was tory blue
I went to a good school
my parents thought that I should learn
not to bend or break the rule
stay on the path, keep out of here
you mustn't question why
just toe the line, do as your told
and you'll make it by and by
I wrote a poem about my fears
of what might become of us
i didnt know I had the power
to shout and make a fuss
the years went by and I grew up
the rot went on around me
a wife a mother and a nurse
I thought that's all I could be
It wasn't that I didn't care
but I was ignorant
of how someone
who was small like me
could make a difference now
that what i could and should have done
was to make my anger heard
but I just cried and cried some more
and uttered not a word
But now I'm free to go my way
and grown wiser from the years
I've moved away from all I know
to stand and fight my fears
I know that I am not alone
that together we can fight
to live our lives the way we choose
our basic human right
the right to live upon the earth
or travel round our isle
to make a home in an empty place
and stay a little while
the right to gather in a field
to sing and dance and play
to know that if we see some wrong
we can march and have our say
So now I let them know I care
my friends have shown me how
that someone who is small like me
can make a difference now
So what I can and I will now do
is to make my protest heard
it's time to shine, and shine some more
'empowerment' is the word
THE ECO-WARRIOR SONG
by Feth
What did you do in the Eco-Wars, daddy?
where were you when they tore all the trees down?
can you tell me
why this is so strange to me daddy
which side of the fence did you stand ?
you say you cant remember
i think you just dont want to answer
did you operate the chainsaws
that tore into our mother
did you lay down the compounds
that deformed my brother
selling us all for a wage
what did you do in the eco wars daddy
Did you turn your face away - cut yourself off from the flame?
How bright were the lights that blinded your reason?
Did you say one man can't make it change?
Did you stand to meet the people
as the world began to crumble
keeping your head down, passing buck round
waiting for somebody to take responsibility
damning us all for a wage
The Third World War is a war against Nature.
You don't even need a gun in your hand.
Eco-War is a war, it's against Nature.
You don't have to fight in some foreign land.
It's there in your kitchen; it's there in your car.
It's there in your lungs; it's there in your heart.
It's there by the roadside - it's there on the front line.
It's there in the headlines - if you read between the lines.
What did you do in the Eco-Wars, daddy?
Did you stand up - did you speak up: "Enough is enough!"
Was it your voice that shouted? Were you there when it counted?
Where were you when the tide turned?
Did you act with honour? Did you think about the future?
Did you know that one day I'd be standing here with you?
In the grey days of the past, did you know of?? something better
Than all their money-mad ways?
the green things grow
let the grey things crumble
from the pinnacles of power
let the rich man tumble
what started as a whisper
soon become a rumble
we can soon find the truth
underneath the jumble
if they haven't heard
we gonna spread the word
let the people know that we can overthrow
it took me some time to find my voice
but when I did Ishouted freedom of choice
take a look at the situation
seem the whole nation is under sedation
if you think its strange that we don't change
get off your arse and start to rearrange
but don't listen to the preacher
cos biblical brainwash is all he'll teach to you
when i found out the words of wisdom
spoke them out
but people dissed them
now i shout
the words of wisdom
people stand up
fight the system
watch the politicians they're all dead
what they say has already been said
prime minister speaks with a forked tongue
the whole government should have been hung
no longer how long you listen to the shit
when you see the whole picture
it just doesn't fit
{instrumental in G or E minor}
Do you mind if I
talk with you a while
I ever need to find myself
stranger to my whole reflection
all I ask is that you listen .. to me
and as the leaves fall swiftly from the trees
I can feel the autumn on my face
and as the death of
someone I have loved
sinks slowly into my heart
Change in me, change in me
I can feel it coming
change, a change in me
change in me, change in me
I can feel
coming coming coming come...
feel so small can cigarette seems
dull in the shame of never reaching for my dreams
never reaching for my dreams
..frozen needs of an abandoned child
wrecked so tired it's hard to unwean
some times its hard to believe
in me
man she said something has crossed over in me
and never coming back this way again
change in me...
as I move towards
the love that I have found
I can see my reflection
looking back at me
don't you see, don't you see,
I will never leave you by in ..
and I will never abandon ...
she is me ..
she is free
change in me..
well we're all camel herders
we wear camel herders hats
we're all camel herders
and what do you make of that?
ha ha ha, ha ha ha, ha ha
ha ha ha, ha ha ha, ha ha
well we're all camel herders
we ?? one can't murder us
we ain't got no camel any more
so we don't get no pus
ha ha ha
so we're all camel herders
aint no camels to be seen
they brought someone from Cairo
and stuck em in quarantine
ha ha ha
Like a seed
Nestled in the damp earth
I stare into the eyes the moon
Wait for her eyes to fall on me
And I wait for the dance to begin
I've tripped and I've fallen
With my eyes wide open
Looking straight into your eyes
Dancing madly ... your soul so timeless
Two rivers flow down into the sea ???
I feel the breathing gently weaving
Strong as ivy in soft wet sunlight
Drowns my will and it takes forever
Dawn is just arriving
we look to the horizon
The sun it melts the stars out of the sky
We're dreaming the creation
From within the mother ocean
From within the seashell held within our hand
I feel the breathing gently weaving
Strong as ivy in soft wet sunlight
Drowns my will and it takes forever
shamana woman
shamana woman
shamana woman
shaman woman you make the sunshine
shaman woman you make the dreamtime
shaman woman you make the medicine wheel go round
Bright white buffalo woman
Coming across the plains and the prairies
Bring in your wisdom
Bring in your pipes of peace
four directions
bringing your pipe of peace
four directions
prophecy prophecy calling me
I wish so much so to be a child again
imagination running wild again
and age comes creeping slowly up behind you
a timeless smile standing cold and still
Thus enforced by will
tell me
can you feel this too?
please please please
say you do
to walk in fields of courtyard unexplored
discover secrets of our hidden hopes
And age comes creeping slowly up behind you
a timeless mind
standing cold and still
thus enforced by will
tell me
can you feel this too
please please
say you do
I wish so much to be a child
I bring you sweet songs and news of the meadowlands
suns shining daisies and I will make a ground for you
of nodding head daffodils and sudden sweet showerful
of grasses green growing and each blade a welcome sight
and nature she's calling
and nature she says to me
come and join hands
you're one with the family now
one with the family now
I bring you sweet suns
of whisperings of the woodland trees
of catkins fresh calling
feel the rising of the sap
of songbirds their courting and flutter wings they're all around
of bluebells and carpeting and laughing the magpie folk
and nature she's calling
nature she says to me:
Come and join hands
you're one with the family now
one with the family now
I bring you sweet songs and tales of the morning light
A beetlebug scrambling, spot ladybirds ambling
of skylarking singing and dancing in the blue sky
of bumblebees buzzing make honey for you and I
And nature she's calling...
I bring you sweet songs, a love of the sacred earth
of quick summers gold, and I'll make a crown for you
of tinkerbells glistening and laughing the pixie folk
green grows the new growth and heathens reborn again
heathens reborn again, heathens reborn again
heathens reborn again
heathens reborn
